Privacy Policy
What this website collects, what it does not, and what happens to the information you give the clinic.

Quick answer
This website has no forms and does not ask for your name, phone number or health information. Contact happens through WhatsApp, by phone, or by walking up to the counter. Clinic medical records are held separately from this website.
Who is responsible
This policy covers the website klinikharamain.my, operated by Klinik Haramain 24 Jam at No. 47 and 49 (Ground Floor), Jalan 2/1, Taman Seri Jaromas, 42600 Jenjarom, Selangor.
For any question about your personal information, call the clinic on 03-3191 3239 or come to the counter. The clinic is open 24 hours every day.
What this website collects
This website has no registration form and no appointment form, and does not ask for your identity card number or your email address. What it does have is a short form that opens when you press a WhatsApp button, asking for your name and phone number. Section four below sets out what is stored from that form and for how long.
The panel checker on the Check Panel page runs entirely inside your own browser. What you type there is not sent to the clinic and is not stored anywhere.
Like any website, the server that hosts this site records incoming requests. Those records include the IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser type. They are used for security and maintenance only, not to identify visitors.
Cookies
This site does not run Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel or any advertising tracker.
The only cookies that may be set are technical ones for page caching and for clinic staff login sessions. They are not used to follow you to other websites.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
When you contact us by WhatsApp or phone
The WhatsApp buttons on this site open a short form first, then open your own WhatsApp application with that information already typed out. The form asks for your name, your phone number, who the treatment is for, and a general category of what you want to ask about. There is also a note field you can leave empty.
What you enter in that form is stored in this website database before WhatsApp opens, so that the clinic can reach you again if the WhatsApp conversation breaks off. That is what you agree to when you tick the consent box on the form.
If you would rather nothing was stored, use the link below the form that goes straight to WhatsApp. Nothing is stored by this website on that route.
What is stored: your name, your phone number, who it is for, the category of your question, any note you write yourself, the page you pressed the button on, the language of that page, and the date and time. Your identity card number is not asked for and not stored. Your IP address is not stored.
An email notification is sent to the clinic and to the people who run the clinic website and marketing, so that enquiries are not missed outside office hours. That notification contains the same information listed above.
These enquiry records are kept for 12 months and then deleted. They are separate from clinic medical records, which have their own retention period described below. To ask for your enquiry record to be deleted sooner, contact the clinic; such requests are handled as set out under Your rights.
The WhatsApp message itself travels through WhatsApp, not through this website, so how WhatsApp handles it is governed by their own privacy policy.
Do not write sensitive health details in the note field or send them by WhatsApp unless you are comfortable doing so. For anything that needs to be examined, it is better to come to the clinic.
Clinic medical records
Patient medical records are held in the clinic system, separately from this website. This website has no access to those records.
Medical records are kept for seven years, in line with medical confidentiality obligations and record-keeping requirements for a licensed private healthcare facility.
Records are shared with third parties only where you have given permission, where it is needed for a referral in your care, or where the law requires it.
Employer and insurance panels
If you come as a panel patient, the clinic has to confirm your eligibility with your employer or panel manager, and submit the claim to them.
The information shared for that purpose is limited to what the panel needs in order to process the claim.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong.
You can also withdraw consent for us to contact you for purposes other than your own care.
Such requests are handled personally by Dr Muhammad Za'im bin Asniel, the doctor and holder of the clinic registration certificate. Call the clinic on 03-3191 3239 to reach him.
We may need to verify your identity before releasing any record.
Changes to this policy
If we begin using analytics tools, online forms or anything else that collects visitor information, this policy will be updated before that tool is switched on.
